    It is an marine pipeline which crosses the ria of Vigo for the supply  of water to the Morrazo peninsula.

    The features of the pipeline are:

        •    Material: PE100.
        •    Outer diameter: 500 mm, SDR 9.
        •    Length of marine pipeline: 3,800 m.
     
    A detailed study of the following aspects has been carried out:
        •    Optimisation of the pipeline route.
        •    Pipe sinking process: longitudinal forces, pressures, buoyancy, etc.
        •    Pipeline joining under the sea.
        •    Pipeline guiding system towards the seabed.
        •     Flange calculation.
